Curriculum

Our curriculum consists of a number of projects that start with simple concepts and hands on experience. The classes meet once a week over the course of 12 weeks. Each student will receive their own project kit with everything they will need to complete the hands on projects. They will learn the basics of programming in the process of learning the principles of modern electronics. The projects start out simple and increase in complexity gradually so that by the end of the 12 week program they will have a good understanding of how Internet of Things (IoT) devices are built and will have the opportunity to build real working projects.

Stories told with Tech!

Our curriculum centers around a powerful modern microprocessor that powers all of the projects. In addition to the curriculum that we will cover in the weekly classes, there are many additional projects in the course materials that provide ample opportunity for students to continue their learning path, even after the course completes.

At the conclusion of the 12 week curriculum, each student will receive an official Rocket City Renegade Official Maker certification!

Information

Our classes are designed to help your student learn solid STEM principles while having fun working on projects that teach the basics of electronics and computer programming. Each week will bring a new topic and experience that will be fun and rewarding.

In addition we will provide an online chat channel so that the students can communicate with the other students and instructor to ask questions and continue to learn when not actually attending class.
